UNABLE TO LOAD DATA - ODBC

Hello,

I am able to establish the ODBC connection to the DB using a Postgres ODBC driver. I am using the desktop latest version of Power BI. I can see the tables available, but when I try to load the data, I encounter the following error.

DataSource.Error: ODBC: ERROR [HY000] Error while executing the query
Details:
    DataSourceKind=Odbc
    DataSourcePath=dsn=ParstreamUser
    OdbcErrors=Table

I can however use the connection string, and get an SQL statement to work. I am assuming its some parsing issue.

Any help is highly appreciated!

@Pavkanna,

What version of Power BI Desktop do you use? Do you use 32 bit or 64bit Power BI Desktop? Also please check if you can connect to the ODBC data source from other application such as Excel.

Lydia

@v-yuezhe-msft,

Version: 2.56.5023.1021 64-bit (March 2018)

There is only one ODBC driver that I can use to connect to parstream. And Yes, I can connect to the data source from other application.

Thank you.
