Hi!!!
I write from Spain. I need to publish excel worksheet in my dashboard. When I upload the worksheet as a report, the Thousand Separator and Decimal Separator are ok (for example., 1.842,50). But when I publlished it in my dashboard, it changes Thousand Separator by comma and Decimal Separator by point (for example., 1,842.50).
Is there any solution?
Thank you very much in advance!
Hi @misgaliana
what is your language setting in PBI Service / PBI File? Are they set correctly to Spanish?

Hi @PavelR!
I opened a ticket in my company so that they could checked that the language selected was the correct one and is all right.
Could it be a problem od Power BI?
Thank you very for your help!
Hi @misgaliana,
Do you use Spanish version of Power BI Desktop to create reports? Does the issue occurs in all browsers(IE, Edge, Chrome)? Could you please checked browser language and regional settings?
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
Hi @v-yuezhe-msft,
I use Spanish version of Power BI Desktop. The problem is when I publish the Excell inform in Power BI from Office 365 of my Company.
The support team of my Comprany checked browser language and regional settings and it was all right. I use IE 11.
Thanks
Hi @misgaliana,
Does the issue also occur when you use Chrome?
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
Hi @v-yuezhe-msft,
In my company we can only use IE 11 and Firefox.
I have tried it with Firefox and it's the same. I can upload the Excel inform correctly, but it changes when I publish it.
Thanks a lot!
Hi @misgaliana,
I am not able to reproduce your issue, please check my settings in below screenshots.
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
Hi @v-yuezhe-msft,
I have checked your settings and it's all right, except this one:
I also send you a picture of the section of Power BI Sevirces, I have the problem with (Libros):
I can upload an Excel worksheet as a book (Libros) correctly, but it changes when I share it in a dashboard.
Thanks!
Hi @misgaliana,
Do you mean that when you pin the visual to dashboard, the format changes? Or when you share the dashboard to other users, users note that the format is changed.
In addition, for language setting in Power BI Service, I use"Default(browser language)".
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
Thanks Lydia
Hi @misgaliana,
I am not able to reproduce your issue in IE11. I would like to suggest you to submit a support ticket: Get support.
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
Hi @v-yuezhe-msft,
Yes, that's what I mean. The format changes when I pin the visual to dashboard. Once it changes, the other users see it with the wrong format.
I tried the language setting "Default(browser language)" in Power BI Service, but the result was the same.
Hi!!
I have checked all the options and it seems to be ok. The language is Spanish.
