Has anyone tried to change the Data from Singapore to Sydney (Eastern Australia)
Recently I went to a Power BI Seminar and it was talked about that in January 2016 this option would be available?
Hi Leo,
Below are the steps you will need to follow if you would like to have your subscriptions moved across to the Australian DC. Its not automatically done and note it can take upto 90 days.
Trust this helps.
Subscriptions are all visible in the O365 Admin Center and can be deleted from there.

Will this be a seamless change? Or will Power BI be unavailable at any point during this process?
@Phil_Seamark This line scares me
I really hope this doesn't mean that the expectation is that one would have to shut down their reporting for 90 days...
@leokalas I'm confused, so you are "not" Shashank Pawar? Your post ends with the closing of the name and site... which leads all to believe that Shashank is the poster.
I am sure many people plagarise many expert posts and take credit.
If you read the post it has is name and Hi Leo at the top....then it has his name at the bottom?
It is a copy of an email and easy to follow.... like reading an email.,
Ah - thanks, missed that.
Apparently I don't read enough email...
Hi,
The instructions was written by a 'Shashank Pawar' who works at Microsoft.
I do not think it will be seamless as he does mention that Power BI will be de-provision.... up to 90 days, then create a new subscrtption.

I have not tried these steps so I would advise try on a non production or test environment.
My organisation is based in Sydney so having to user Power BI via Singapore instead of Australia is a big concern for us.
It would be nice to be able to move Data Centers more easily.
