@IanCockcroft,

Do you mean that the  users need to create their own power bi report in SharePoint? If so, you can use Power BI embedded feature to achieve it, there is a similar thread for your reference.

@IanCockcroft,

You can create slicer in your Power BI report and embed the report in SharePoint Online following the guide in this article.

There is an example for your reference.

Hi Lydia, thanks for the reply, but no. Users need the ability to chop and change a report with different fields without me being needed to create a new report.

At the moment, they use PowerPivot in excel and can select what fields they need from the field list.

they need to do this with a Power BI report in SharePoint.

Possible?

cheers

Hi guys,

I need to embed a report in sharepoint.

Before I get to far down the road and realise it cant be done, can I expose the field list in the sharepoint version?

I have PowerPoint report where uses can chop and change the fields around to show data  each indivdual needs.

Thanks

Ian
