Sharepoint Folder and Power query

Data source - Sharepoint Folder (40 xlsb files)

Operation - Importing data into power bi > Transforming > close & Apply.

Error - "External Component has thrown an exception".

Does any one know why?

The whole data is aroun 2 million rows, i have had upto 13 millions rows before and has no such issues. Is sharepoint folder and power bi integration has ny kind of limitation.

Looking for a solution.

Regards and Thanks in advance

Rohit

Hi @RohitMadaan ,

Seems that could not reproduce it in my side, both of .xlsb files can be imported into power bi and load normally when connecting to SharePoint folder:

Since you have 13 millions rows before and it works so I think the data rows limitation could not affect this issue.

You can try to use the latest version of power bi desktop(Jan 2021) to check.

Do not use .xlsb files. Use .xlsx files.
