Segmenting Customers

Hi, so i am having a slight issue segmenting customers. I have a standard sales table, a customer table with customer_id and standard date table. The aim is to find the number of orders, customers and gross sales by catgory of product of each financial month. This would be fine, however it needs to be further segmented into 3 categories. First time customers, returning customers and customers with multiple orders.

My main issues are segmenting the customer type. at the moment i have customers who are showing as first time, and returning customers.

Any help separating these would be very much appreciated

Requirements need to be:

1. New customer in financial year having made 1 purchase

2. Returning customer from a prior financial year who has made 1 puchase in selected financial year

3. new customers making multiple purchases in finaincial year

4. returning customers from a prior fy who make multpile purchasses in selected financial year

Hi, @Jameswh91 ;

Can you share simple data and the presentation of the results you want to present? In general, it can be achieved with the measure of count.
