SSO logout on Canvas app

Hi,
We have a custom .net web app which single signs on users to Canvas app through microsoft 0365 user account. If a user logs out from from the custom app, user is logged out from Microsoft platform but Canvas app is still active and it only logsout if the page is refreshed. Oauth is the communication protocol. Is there anyway in Canvas app to restrict user performing any operations after its logged out without refreshing the page? How can we check logged in user access token is still active?

I doubt there is a feature to control the Synchronized log out. With my research, you can check the access token in Canvas admin. How do I manage API access tokens as an admin? - Instructure Community (canvaslms.com)
