Just wanted you to know that I wrote a tiny freeware windows app “ExtracTable” that acts as table connector with SAP for extracting / downloading just Table data. No SAP GUI needed nor coding nor IT skills.  Uses netweaver RFC , connecting can also be done via ExtracTable’s commandline feature. You can find it at https://sourceforge.net/projects/extract-table-for-sap

Hi DSmith4,

Could you please tell us if you are using the SAP SE16 Tcode (Data Browser) ? Based on my searching, I haven’t found a ZE16 Tcode.

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to get data from MARA (General Material Data) table to PowerBI with the Tcode SE16. Based on my searching, SE16 Tcode doesn’t provide a provider for PowerBI, in this scenario, we can export the data to Excel with SE16 Tcode first, then import the Excel file to PowerBI.

Please refer to this video to export data from SAP using SE16 Tcode:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S09Q237hySo

Refer to this document to import Excel to PowerBI: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-import-excel-workbooks

Best Regards,

Teige
