Hi!
We recently have a strange issue, hopefully you can help me. We have a Power Automate that refreshed our Power BI dataset automatically every 10 minutes (The Dataset is a Excel file) But with the refreshes not all information is being updated now in the Power BI/Power Query. As you can see in the screenshow below, row 85 is showing as "null" in the Power Query. This is strange because row 82 for example is showing in the Power Query. So not all data is consistently updated, and can sometimes take more hours or days to show up. Does anybody have any idea where the root of this issue lies? And how we can fix it?
Thank you for thinking along!
Hi @KimberlyHM
Where is the Excel file stored? Which connector do you use to connect to it? If you click the navigation step which accesses the correct sheet in APPLIED STEPS pane in Power Query, does this row have data before any transformation steps? Or if you connect to the same Excel file in a new query, does all data display correctly?

Do you have any step that filters rows? Also, if you could provide a sample that would be helpful 🙂
It may be a sync issue. Try refreshing the preview on Power Query as well.
To validate existence of data I would rather do it on the Data Section from Power BI Desktop rather than on Power Query, once refreshed the dataset, data must appear there. Data previews from Power Query can be "misguiding".
Hi Raymundo,
I tried refreshed the the preview in Power Query, the Data Section from Power BI Deskop, and also in Power BI Online Service... but the data doesn't show 😞 Hopefully you have more ideas?
Greetings Kimberly
