Power BI connection with Sharepoint

Hi everyone, I need to connect Power BI to Sharepoint List but to do so I encountered some issues.

The connection is estabilished but I'm unable to visualize data, in this case Sharepoint Lists.

I also configured a gateway with the correct data source and it seems to work correctly.

I'm using Sharepoint 2013 site with SQL Server 2012.

Here is my problem, any suggestions?

Hi @biagiocaldararo,

It seems you connected to on-premise SharePoint site to retrieve SharePoint lists data used SharePoint List data source type in Power BI desktop, but there was no available SharePoint lists displayed, right?

Based on my test, when we use SharePoint List data source and type the site URL, then it will display the SharePoint list if we have permission to read.

In your scenario, please type the SharePoint list URL in the browser to check if you have permission to view the SharePoint lists under this site. Also please check which Power BI Desktop version in your environment, please update it to the latest if possible.

Thank you for your answer @v-qiuyu-msft

As the owner of the site I've got the permission to view the SP lists and I'm pretty sure I'm using the latest version of Power BI.

Furthermore, recently I'm working with OData Feed and it seems to work properly.

Hi @biagiocaldararo,

It seems the SharePoint is on-premise, can you verify you use SharePoint List data source?
