Power BI Enterprise Gateway v Power BI Analysis Services Connector

Is Power BI Enterprise Gateway going to replace the Power BI analysis Services Connector when it comes out of preview or do they both offer different functionality when it comes to connecting to tabular models?

Although we do not official confirmation of that, my guess is that the Enterprise Gateway will replace the SSAS Conncetor.

Why I think so? For SQL Server we went down the same path.

Following on from my previous question. If I was evaluating Power BI for an organisation is best to use Power BI Enterprise Gateway or the Power BI Personal Gateway?. What are the big differences between the personal and enterprise when comes to data sources. Can I for instance connect to a tabular model using personal and enterprise?
