Hello,
I subscribe to data feeds from a vendor that I have to integrate into Power BI but they use POST (not GET) method. I am accessing the API documentation from a Swagger site. I use basic auth to authenticate in postman. I've done a lot of searching around trying to get my POST API request right, but it's just not working. I am wondering if it can even be done at this point (most likely i'm doing something wrong with the syntax). I can get a good response in Postman but have no idea how to translate that over to Power BI. Please help walk me through this if you can!! Thanks!!
This is what I'm working with:
Request URL: https://requesturl
JSON upload body: { "UpdatedWithin": 1000000 }
Headers: Accept=application/json and Content-Type=application/json
Authentication (basin): UN and PW

@v-piga-msft , no I haven't solved it. I've read the posts, followed the links, have spent hours trying to get this to work without success. So, no. No soution. I would expect Microsoft to address this better as it seems to be a tough nut for people to crack. Colleagues of mine are also challenged with calling POST API through Power Query. Additional suggestions would be helpful...?
Hi,
