Hi,
I have having issues when merging data from a PostgreSQL database and tables from Google BigQuery (uaing the PostgreSQL and BigQuery connectors), I can refresh and publish fine on the desktop version, but trying to refresh using the on premises gateway gives me errors:
When I set the privacy levels for both sources to 'None' I get this error:
If I change the data sources both to 'Organizational' I get this error message:
I googled the Simba driver but not sure why I need it as its not a free library and why does it only ask for it when I set the privacy level to organizatonal?
I'm doing an 'append' merge on these tables which seems to be causing these errors, any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Dom

Hi @Anonymous
BigQuery is a RESTful web service that enables interactive analysis of massive datasets working in conjunction with Google Storage.
When your dataset have data from BigQuery and PostgreSQL database(on premise) merged, to refresh successfully in Power BI Service, please refer to this article and this similar thread.
These references point out that:
When we have cloud and on-premises data sources merged or appended in a single query, to refresh them,
Under Gateway Cluster Settings, select Allow user's cloud data sources to refresh through this gateway cluster > Apply,
Under this gateway cluster, add any on-premises data sources used in your queries. You don't need to add the cloud data sources here.
On the Dataset settings page for the new dataset:
Make sure privacy levels for both cloud and on-premises data sources are set appropriately to ensure the joins are handled securely.
