OBIEE connection to Power BI - Does Azure matter?

We have OBIEE and we are trying to see if we can connect Power BI to it and preserve all the joins and relationships. Does having Azure make any difference?

Is Power BI developing its own OBIEE connector? If so when will it be available?

You can connect Power BI to OBIEE/OAS (or Oracle Analytics Cloud) using BI Connector.

BI Connector connect Power BI Desktop/Service to OBIEE Subject Areas and Reports. It works in both Import and Direct Query modes.

BI Connector is a Power BI Certified connector. An Azure subscription doesn't make any difference.
