Not all SAP S4 BW ABAP CDS views are visible from Power BI?

HI All

I am trying to access SAP HANA S4 ABAP CDS views through SAP BW application from PowerBI. 

However, it is not all the CDS views that are visibles from the PowerBI. 

I have created a CDS view Type #Cube @analytics: { dataCategory: #CUBE}, which is visible from PowerBI. 

However, we also have a Type #Query (@Analytics.query: true)  build on top of that Cube, but this Query can't be seem from the PowerBI. 

Do you know how we can make this query (Type #Query (@Analytics.query: true) ) available to PowerBI so that we can build reports from PowerBI based on this CDS query?

Hi, Did you find the solution for this? I'm stuck with similar issue? we build custom query with standard SAP annotations but BW query is not visible in Power Bi tool. kindly let me know if any found the solution

Please let us know if you were able to resolve the issue.

We are also not able to see the ABAP CDS view in Power BI  of Type #Query (@Analytics.query: true)  build on top of  Cube. The CUBE is visible in Power BI.

Do you use the built-in SAP HANA connector or oData?

Have you ever read these references?

Thanks Maggie for the response.

However, we would prefer not to use OData service, for the reason that the hierarchy built from SAP CDS is not usable if using OData service, and also for the input parameters for refreshing report doesn’t seem to work.

Or if there is a way for the SAP CDS hierarchies and the query parameters to be working using the OData service?
