I create monthly reports using Excel and the Power Pivot and Power Query(mostly) tools.
I connect to sharepoint for my source files and grab the data from there and create these reports.
I update the source files each month and make the new reports. However i also feel i need to have trend charts for the growth of data across the months/quarter/year.
Not sure how this can be achieved.
Is there a way i can setup a folder structure in Sharepoint like 2016 -->Jan/Feb/each month as a subfolder within and add all the source files within each month and then create trend charts from these??
P.S: Using the Power BI Desktop client is not an option for me. Only Power Query and Power Pivot.
