Microsoft Azure Enterprise Service - Month Field Format

Hi,

the month field of Microsoft Azure Enterprise Service seems to be formatted as a text value. As consequence it is sorted alphabetically and not numerically which result in strange order e.g. in a bar chart

Any suggestions on how to improve the sorting?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

You have a similar problem here :

http://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Month-Columns-in-PBI-Desktop/m-p/2691/highlight/true#M496

The solution is the same.

Hi,

The problem in the link is not exactly the same as described in this topic.

The author there describes that the months are sorted properly, but in the Azure Enterprise service the problem is still exist,
and the months are still sorted alphabetically and not numerically.

Any suggestions on how to improve the sorting?

Thanks in advance!
