Dear all,
I am trying to define/ manage different roles.
As default, Power BI states e.g. [Country Name] = "Italy".
Is it also possible to replace the "=" with a character for "contains"? 🤔
My internet research was w/o results...😐
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hi @Orstenpowers ,
Remove the "=".
SEARCH ( "Italy", [Country Name], 1, BLANK () ) <> BLANK ()
Hi @Orstenpowers ,
Please create a role like that.
=SEARCH ( "Italy", [Country Name], 1, BLANK () ) <> BLANK ()
Dear v-frfei-msft,
Thank you for your hint, but I get following message from Power BI: 🤔
Hi @Orstenpowers ,
Remove the "=".
SEARCH ( "Italy", [Country Name], 1, BLANK () ) <> BLANK ()
Hi,
it works, great.
You can use any DAX expression
Hi Greg,
Thx for your feedback!
But which expression do I have to use to state at the "Manage roles" section to define e.g. "Country" contains "Nether"???
