MS Project OData connection showing Null on Enterprise Task Level Custom Field

Hi All,

I have created Enterprise task level custom field - connected to Text based lookup table.

When connecting to Project Online - using OData, all the columns under the Custom field are showing up as null, snapshot below:

What can I do to read the data into powerbi? Any troubleshooting tips as well?

Hi @Find2022 ,

The account you use to connect to the OData feed must have at least Portfolio Viewer access to the Project Web App site.

Did such issue occur in Power BI Desktop or Power BI service?

For references:

Hi Evelyn9,

Thanks a lot for the links. Yes I could access the rest of the data such as tasks, start date, end date etc. But the issue is with columns that was created based on custom fields - these fields were created with lookup table to it at task level or also open text. The text was not imported into powerbi.

Tried both on powerbi service and powerbi desktop..

Any ideas how to resolve the custom field?

Thank you!
