Log Analytics Import M Query in Power BI with Direct Query

Hello,

I want to import the ADF data from Log Analytics into PowerBi. The report would contain a PowerAutomate or PowerApp visual to start a specific ADF pipeline. However, currently I can only import the ADF pipeline run data in Import mode. Is there a solution in which the pipeline run data will be in Direct Query mode, so that it immediately shows when a pipeline has been started?

Thanks in advance!

Kr

Hi @jasperp

DirectQuery mode supports fewer data sources than Import mode. Log Analytics is not supported for DirectQuery. (Power BI data sources)

An option is to store the data in Azure SQL database via ADF pipeline. Then you can connect to the Azure SQL database with DirectQuery mode in Power BI.
