Kaizala import result in app creation

Hi,

I am tyring to add my Kaizala account to import data into Power BI, I tried the get data option and added Kaizala data successfully last week. After successfull authentication it did add a new dashboard and dataset under My Workspace. End of last week i've started having trouble with the import. Everytime now I import or get data from kaizala, it creates an App under the apps, no dashboard, no datasets, no reports.

I am new to Power BI and i guess there is no way to create reports from Apps workspace.

So I am stuck.

 Thanks

Nitin

@nitinkapoor,

Please check my video about how to find dashboard, reports  and dataset from the Apps in Power BI Service. If you want to create your own report, please use Power BI Desktop to connect to the Power BI Service dataset and create reports there.

Hi,

You can store the data into sharepoint list (using power automate) and work with power BI.

Thanks Lydia.

Although i can see Dashboard, report and dataset, but when i click to open dataset, power BI does nothing.

Is it possible to achieve reporting without using the desktop version?

Thanks

Nitin

@nitinkapoor,

Yes. We are not able to create new reports after connecting to online service content pack in Power BI Service, we would need to use Power BI Desktop.

Hmm.. strange, when i did this last Monday it was creating data set from Kaizala content pack, and i was able to create new reports. Two days later it started adding content pack as an App.

Many thanks for your respone.
