Hi,
I am pretty new to using power query and i am struggling a bit with some data i am trying to transform.
Currently i am receiving some .csv files on a monthly basis where i have managed to transform most of the data to be as accurate as possible. However i am struggling with formatting the date and time from US to european layout.
When i try to transform this using locale to Swedish it changes it to 9th of january 2022. When in fact the date is 1st of september 2022. The time isn't really of importance.
What i would like in the long run is to from this create a new custom column with only the month displayed.
Hopefully someone out there has a solution to my question, thanks a lot.

@Stachu Thanks, but i've actually tried that, but that didn't really help me.
However I just figured out the solution and if i set my regional settings in the queue to English (US) then it could change the layout to the correct one and being able to collect month and year correctly.

Do the following:
1) right click on the column
2) click on Change Type
3) click on Using locale...
4) set type to Date and Locale to English (United States)
