Installed Gateway but still "You don't have any data gateways"?

This is driving me bananas.  Yesterday it was working fine.

I have the Gateway personal installed.

And I can see this in my power bi dataset

However when I click manage gateways, it says

It was showing the gateway yesterday just fine......any ideas?

Hi @optimusprime,

In Power BI service, Manage Gateways is used for managing on-premise data gateway instead of on-premise data gateway (personal mode). From the screeshot, you have installed the on-premise data gateway (personal mode), so when you go to the dataset settings, if this dataset requires gateway, you will see on-premise data gateway (personal mode) is available.

To use Manage Gateways, please install the on-premise data gateway follow this article firstly.

Any changes to your data source list in your Power BI project?  Have you added any new sources that your gateway isn't configured for?

Re: Installed Gateway but still "You don't have any data gateways"?

HI v-qiuyu-msft,

Any help would be highly appreciated.

I have the same issue, I have downloaded on-Perm Data Gateway and it was working fine.

However, I needed to install & configure new one, so I uninstall it and removed current data gateway from Online Power Bi and then reinstall it again it's showing online and ready to be used, but I’m getting this message (You don't have any data gateways) on Online Power Bi.

I was expecting that it will be directly updated to my Online Power but it’s not.

Thanks,

Reham
