Hi all,
We've recently got access to the SAP BW Connector (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-sap-bw-connector), which gives us the ability to easily tap into SAP BW via Power BI and gives us a great amount of posibilities in analysis/BI.
However, we are running into some barriers. When connecting to a query with stock count data per day per article, the BW layer has a difficulty with calculating the aggregate. When setting time windows beyond 1 month, the server gets out of memory.
Is there a possibility to incremental refresh SAP BW data in Power BI? It's currently not supported by the Power BI Premium functionality. However, is there a workaround? Can we dynamically load a new week and store it in historical data which is not refreshed?

It seems it is actually possible to use incremental refresh for SAP BW.

Hi @Anonymous ,
It seems that you want to achieve incremental refresh without Power BI Premium capacity.
Please refer to this similar requirement which using dax.
@ImkeF any workarounds about power query for this scenario?
Best Regards,
Cherry
the article clearly stats that whatever we will be implementing will not be covered in PowerBI Service, then what will be the point of using the method if we are going to refresh everything manually on daily basis, or if you are telling me that we can automate that as well?
