Importing XML loaded data from Webpage through VPN

Hi all,

I am importing data from a website which contains XML data loaded in a server and I am connected through a VPN. The data loads to other softwares I used very well. However I can't load the data into Power BI and even Excel.

This is the example of how the data works loaded in the webpage:

Unbenannt66.PNG

And this is the message I receive in Power BI:Unbenannt555.PNG

However the data has been loaded in the other softwares with the same username and password.

Looking forward to your replies.

Best

Hi @Anonymous ,

Why not download the xml in local and then get data with xml connector in Power BI Desktop?

Based on your image, it seems that you use OData feed connector, you may could try other authenticate method.

Best  Regards,

Cherry

The first problem is: the data are suppose to change on a dialy basis.

The second problem: it is more than 22k xml listings which doing manually is too much.

As I would love to have it automated, and if anyone suggests I do anything specifically on the server side please be more clear as I don't have access to the server. So I could specifically tell the client what certifications or access has to be given to the Power BI or Microsoft to access it.

Thank you.
