Hello,
How is it possible to do this?
Hi @iegorov553,
Currently, you can connect to files on Google Spreadsheet from Power BI Desktop via Get Data->Web entry. Assume that you connect to a Excel file, open it in Google Spreadsheet, go to File / Publish to Web, then change the selection from Web Page to Microsoft Excel. Copy the generated link and input the URL in Get Data->Web Window of Power BI Desktop, then enter your Google account and Password. For more details, please review the following screenshots.
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
@v-yuezhe-msft,
Thank you for detailed instructions but this is not what I'm looking for. I need to get data from power BI and copy it to Google spreadsheets, not the other way around.
Hi @iegorov553,
You can export data from Power BI to CSV or Excel, then upload the csv/excel file to Google spreadsheets.
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
Hi @iegorov553,
Firstly, an idea about automatically exporting data on different time basis has been submitted in this link, please vote it up.
Secondly, to some extent, you can use R script to export data to CSV automatically, please check alanhodgson’s reply about this method in this thread.
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
