Import csv file with 6 GB to Power BI error

I tried to import a large csv file from an azure account to my pro Power BI. It takes to much time to upload and in the end gives a message:

Apply querie changes

OLE DB or ODBC error: Non negative number needed. Parameter name: value.

What is the best way to import such a large csv?

Hi @Anonymous,

Does your error still persist?

If yes, then can you try to load this file but with only 1000 rows? Just to be sure that you are able to load data.

I have the same issue but with a sql query with ODBC connector and lots of rows

Any idea of how to solve it?

@Anonymous,

I suspect that there are some issues with the data in the CSV file. Have you checked the "value" parameter mentioned in the above error message? How about you download CSV to local drive and use File connector in Power BI Desktop?

Lydia
