Import True or False flag dimension instead of the original dimension

Hi all,

the problem is that I have sensitive customer information in a dataset I want to publish to the service (I.e. email and mobile numbers)

I was wondering if it is possible to create a custom Boolean type column containing the value true if the customer has an email and false if he doesn't (which is the easy part) and not import the actual email dimension so no personal data is exposed to end users.

it will also reduce dataset size 😄

thanks in advance

Yes. Do this in Power Query. Add a conditional column. If there is an email address, return true, else false, then remove the email column.

Why don't you just remove the column from the dataset?
