How to print out "type text" or "type number" as text

I have a column in a table where each element is a Type i.e type number, type text e.t.c.

In GUI when viewing the table I see only text "type" in each cell. In order to see the type I need to "drill down" for each element to see the actual type value.

 

How can I print out a Type as text? Someting like Type.ToText().. I have spent so much time looking for it and can not find any function doing this. Anyone knows?

If i understand you correctly, please refer to the workarounds below:
