Hi @Anonymous ,
Try explinign your query with some examples or sample screesnhots.
Your 1-liner doesn't help much.
Thanks,

Id | A | B | C | D |
1 | 100 | 500 | 20 | 58 |
2 | 200 | 600 | 50 | 455 |
3 | 300 | 700 | 75 | 777 |
4 | 400 | 800 | 89 | 893 |
so say i have this above table and i need to be able to pass my columns ('A', 'B' ,'C', 'D') in to a slicer and based upon the slicer selection my x axis should take the respective column values. I would want to do this without having to unpivot my table.
Why don't you want to unpivot? It makes analysis/visualization so much easier.

Pat

The dataset that's used is pretty large and there are around 250 columns . This would cause a performance issue
Hi @Anonymous
If you have [id] and [A],[B]....250 columns, only [id] is not needed to be unpivoted,
you could select [id] column, then select "unpivot other columns", then other columns would unpivot.
close&&apply into data model, add the "attribute" column into a slicer, so you could select "A","B".....
Unpivot columns maybe the easiest way to achieve your goal.
Sometimes, it is recommended to store amny rows in power bi data model instead of many columns due to performance.
