Hosting On-premises Power BI Gateway on azure

Hi 

We'd like to host Azure Server for Power BI Gateway. 

How is the performance like? 

We have power bi reports which pulls data from Netsuite (Accounting System). We'd like to have it refershed via Server. Currently it's happening on a laptop. 

Could you recoomend which Azure Server I should go for please? 

There are too many servers.

Hi @Anonymous,

There are many requirements for hosting on-premise data gateway, please go through this article firstly: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-gateway-onprem/#requirements

So when you consider which azure server hosts data gateway, please make sure the the server meets requirements listed above. 

Another thing is to keep the on-premise data gateway to run as the latest version.
