Hello!
I have some rates on a table. Column [RATE] which only has two different value choices (RateA and RateB) and column [FUEL] which has currency value of the fuel cost. I want the custom colum to display the value of [FUEL] if the value of [RATE] is RateA ortherwise just be null.
thanks for your time.

Hi, @Pizcatella ;
You can add a conditional column in power query such as:
The final show:
let
Source = Table.FromRows(Json.Document(Binary.Decompress(Binary.FromText("i45WCkosSXVU0lGyUIrVQfAsUXiGBnCuE5BrZIbCNTRWio0FAA==", BinaryEncoding.Base64), Compression.Deflate)), let _t = ((type nullable text) meta [Serialized.Text = true]) in type table [RATE = _t, FUEL = _t]),
#"Changed Type" = Table.TransformColumnTypes(Source,{{"RATE", type text}, {"FUEL", Int64.Type}}),
#"Added Conditional Column" = Table.AddColumn(#"Changed Type", "Custom", each if [RATE] = "RateA" then [FUEL] else null)
in
#"Added Conditional Column"

Hi @Pizcatella ,
Do we only have the rate and cost? What is the logic to assessing whether it is Rate A or B?
