Hi,
I couldn't find an existing post, so if this is answered anywhere else, please forgive me and link ot the relevant posts below.
Anyone got a good source of material on Power Query training, hints and tips etc. particularly on M laguage syntax? I've seen the MS Docs pages (so dry and barely helpful in some instances) and I'm subscribed to https://www.myonlinetraininghub.com/ but I'm looking for something more PQ focussed for myself and colleagues.

Your best bet is to look at the language spec:
It is pretty compresentitive as far as the syntax goes.
Hi @shill1000 ,
If you want to get dynamic date range in M code, you could try to use parameter in it. You could refert to Pass parameter to SQL Queries statement using Power BI for details.
In addition, you also could refer to Introduction To Power Query M Code and basics-of-m-power-query-formula-language or other toturial in YouTube for details.

Thanks that helps but its a dry document and not easy to navigate. I was looking something a bit more structured, particularly with practical examples.
i.e. one of the things I struggle with is the syntax for non-basic date handling. Most of the basic documentation only describes standard scenarios, but I struggle to find good help with things like dynamic date ranges such as fetching data in the previous x whole months. I could do it in SQL OK, but the syntax in M is more complex.
FYI I've shelled out for this as it has good reviews and I tend to find the MS books generally well laid out with good examples and sample files. But they too can be a bit dry and hard to navigate for specific help.
I get the impression there are a plethora of resources for Excel, Power BI and Dax, but far less for M.
