Hi all,
I have a data source that i am connecting to via API. I have two types of data, one that contains a very big volumn that i would like to load once a day that is not needed to be very updated and the second data set needs to be updated more or less on the fly.
I would like to make two different dataloads. One once a day and the other once every 10 minutes. However i need the to data in the same visual.
DataSet 1: transformed once a day into a more simple dataset.
Dataset 2: transformed several times during the day.
Used in one dataset.
My first idea is to make two different datasets, but i can only use one dataset in my visual. Does any one have same issue.

If you have a pro license and are using the service, I would set up a Dataflow for your big dataset and set that to refresh daily. You can then use the dataflow as the source for it in your model. If really big, you could also consider incremental refresh. Please see these links for more info

If this works for you, please mark it as the solution. Kudos are appreciated too. Please let me know if not.

Pat

Do both of your sources have to be imported? Can one or both of them be Direct Query?
