Getting Data from Sharepoint 2007 Lists

Hey Power BI Community, 

 

is it possible to grab data from a Sharepoint 2007 (On Premises) List? I haven't found any way to establish a connection to it and get the data out of a list. 

 

If there is no "standard" way to get the data - do we have some other opportunities to get the data on a other way / other tool, which could be a "stopover" to get the data into Power BI?

SharePoint 2007 does not support OData so the standard way won't work. As I recall, there is a listdata.svc page that would return data in XML, you could try that.
