I have a user table which contains the user data. Each user can have several IDs.
User | ID Source | ID |
1 | System A | 01890 |
1 | System B | alpha |
2 | System A | 12597 |
2 | System B | alpha |
The system A ID is used as primary key to establish connections to other tables in the sheet.
Problem: Although I filtered via power query the ID Source to System A, PowerBI shows both IDs of both systems, when I create new tables.
Do you have a solution on how to filter properly so that BI just recognizes the IDs of System A?
Solved! Go to Solution.
There's something else going on because if you filter a table to 'System A' only, then press Close and Apply in Power Query, other records do not load to powerbi.
Suggest you show us the filtering and the results of the filtering i.e. where it's going wrong
Thanks for your fast reply and help. Yes it was another issue, which I was able to fix.
