Export huge amount of data from one pbix-file and import in another one

Dear all, I'm struggling with a serious problem. I have a database in Power Bi with a significat amout of data collected from different sources related to Bdg 17. Now that we are preparing a new database for BDG 18 I need to export data from the previous one, for the main table, and import in the BDG 18 one. I read this post https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Integrations-with-Files-and/import-data-from-other-pbix-file-into-t... but it is not suitable for me because the number of records. I thought that the new feature of this month (connettor to Power BI Service) could come to help me but seams that it is not possible modify tables, upload new ones or create new mesures. Are there any ideas or am I misleading something?? Thanks a lot for your help!!!

In follow up, you might also try using R to export the data from your .pbix file as explained here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Knowledge-Base/Export-dataset-into-a-file-from-Power-BI-D...

Perhaps I am missing something, but why not just create a copy of the PBIX file?

Hi Smoupre, thanks for your reply but, if it was so easy I would't ask PBI Community... 😉
This database is 500 mb and don't want to carry over all the data, I just need the data of the main table ( there are 20 tables in this PBIX file...), and for sure I dont what to add any other mb to the same PBIX.
Hope this clarify, thanks!!

Is your requirement to get data out of Power BI .pbix file? If so, and you can open the .pbix file, you should be able to copy that data into excel by navigating to the query editor view, copying your table, and exporting to a .csv format.
