Hi all,
I have a Excel power query data model connected to Azure SQL Server Analysis Services as my data source. It has been impossible to refresh even 40K rows as the refresh automatically times out after 600 seconds. I have searched for lots of similar issues on the forum and included a CommandTimeout = #duration(0,1,30,0) but that did NOT change anything... The operations still got cancelled after merely 600 seconds.
Can anyone help me with this or perhaps give me some guidance on where to start?
Thank you so much

Hi @alexc ,
Could you please try to increse the connection timeout value as well? Such as following:
let
Source = AnalysisServices.Database(server as text, database as text, [CommandTimeout=#duration(0,2,0,0),ConnectionTimeout=#duration(0,2,0,0)])
in
Source
Please refer to following document about it: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerquery-m/analysisservices-database
Best regards,
