Excel Blank cell is not getting read by ISBLANK()

Hi,

I am using ISBLANK() to read and mark Null cells in excel but it is not reading 

_NewColumn1 = IF( ISBLANK( Field1 , "empty" , "ALL" )

When i am using it , it is showing ALL for even all empty Field1. Basically it is reading new Null cells as a cell with value in excel, what is happening here .

Hi @rds_2019 ,

Blank() should work in Dax.

BTW, your formula is not correct here.

_NewColumn1 = IF( ISBLANK( Field1) , "empty" , "ALL" )

One more thing, or your null cell is "null" in string instead of blank(). You should update your formula as below.

_NewColumn1 = IF( Field1="null" , "empty" , "ALL" )
