Essbase version compatibility? NOT Powerbi Version Compatibility

I've seen a post that confirms which version of PowerBI you should have to connect to Essbase, but is there documentation on whether the connector works with, e.g. Oracle Essbase 11.1.1.3 as opposed to version 12.X?

Any help is appreciated in advance.

As searched, there is no offical article to discuss Essbase version compatibility for power bi.

The official article claims "Oracle Essbase connector now supports DirectQuery and is generally available" in Power BI Desktop 2019/4.

If you have any proble to connect to different versions of Oracle Essbase with Power BI,

You could report an issue in Power BI Issue forum so that this issue will be reported interally and would be fixed.
