Hi
I have installed the Enterprise Gateway and successfully created a "File" data source to connect to an on-premise file. Unfortunately, when I publish a PBIX file that sources data from the on-premise file I am unable to configure it to perform a refresh via the Enterprise Gateway (the choice is greyed out).
I am using the same path and file name in the PBIX file that I used in the Enterprise Gateway data source. I have also ensured that the the Power BI account to which the PBIX file was published has access to the Enterprise Gateway data source. Can someone please advise what else I may need to do to get this working?
Note, I have been able to get the Enterpise Gateway working properly with a "Web" data source that points to an on-premise URL. I just don't seem to be able to get it working with "File" or "Folder" data sources
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks

I recreated the PBIX file and this fixed the problem. The queries and file paths within the PBIX file were exactly the same as before but when I published the new PBIX file to Power BI Server I was able to connect it to the Enterprise Gateway. Not sure why that worked but happy it's fixed
As an aside, I was also able use a UNC path to connect to the file on a file server. I had read previously that the gateway did not support this so I was pleasantly surprised to see this functionality was now available.
