Direct Query Source

Hello,

I would like to practice working with Direct Query sources.

Is there a Microsoft o any other source we can connect to for learning purpose?

Thanks,

Tamir

@Anonymous,

You can install SQL Server Express edition on your machine, then connect to the SQL Server database with DirectQuery mode in Power BI Desktop.

Thank you @v-yuezhe-msft

After I figured out that I need to put a dot ("." ) in the Server name field I got the databases within SQL Server Express edition.
