Can someone please give me some clues and guidance as to how I can identify why a correct result shows on my table:

Thanks Greg - I solved it myself which was a miracle. My error - had the wrong date filter on the dashboard report - I was combining data from several tables but selected the date from one. Instead, I used the calendar table and bingo, all good. Phew! Was driving me nuts!
@DianneB Difficult to say without more information. Sorry, having trouble following, can you post sample data as text and expected output?

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.

@DianneB Funny, I almost said, try using the "Reset filters" button in the ribbon in the service (over on the right). Should have gone with my gut.
