Dataset not updating row level changes

I have been trying to update a dataset stored in my company sharepoint, with changes at the row level.  While the refresh says it was completed successfully, the changes are not visible on my report (even when refreshed).

I have confirmed the changes are in place via excel.  Any ideas as to how to ensure they are pushed through to my report would be appreciated.

@cdn4lf,

Do you connect to Excel stored in SharePoint from Power BI? If so, do you upload Excel to SharePoint online or on-premises SharePoint? What connector do you use in Power BI to connect to the Excel?

I've been using the import dataset to Power BI.  The dataset had already been manipulated to have pivot tables on it which appears to be throwing everything off

@cdn4lf,

Do you store the Excel file in SharePoint Online? What is the data source of your pivot table in Excel? What is the option do you use to connect to the data source in Excel?

Lydia
