Data not showed in Power BI Service from Sharepoint Online list in schedule refresh

Hi everyone,

I have a serious problem, when the data set is refreshed the data from the Sharepoint Online list desapair. This happend in power bi service, in the desktop .pbix document the data is released and refreshed correctly.

The Data Source is a SharePoint 365 list.

I tryed:

- Set as public the access to the data in power bi desktop.

- Use the data source credential as OAuth2 (but this is reverted to the Anonymous option automaticly).

- Deleted the data source and republish the .pbix document.

Another strange thing is that when I publish for the first time, the data is showed, after that, when schedule or manual update, the data is not showed anymore.

Any ideas?

Many Thanks in advance, regards.

Mauricio

Hi @myazigi ,

By my test with the latest version of Power BI Desktop, everything works as expected.

Here is my test steps, please check if you have the same steps.

1. In the latest version of Power BI Desktop 2.67.5404.801, Get Data>> SharePoint Online List>>Type the URL>> Sign in with organizational account

2. Create the visuals in the report and save it then publish it to Power BI Service.

3. Sign in Power BI Service and go to Settings>> Datasets>> find te dataset of the SharePoint Online list>> Edit Crendential>>OAuth2

4. Manual refresh the dataset and refresh the report. I could refresh the report successfully.

Hi Cherry,

Thank you very much for your answer. I found that I was using Sharepoint List as a data source instead of Sharepoint Online List.

Best regards,

Mauricio
