(D365O&F) (OData Feed) Published My Report on My Workspace, But It Won't Get New Data Records After.

Hello awesome community!

I'm new to Power BI and i'm still learning, so bear please with the newbie!

I finished creating my first report and published it on my work space on the web. The data I used are from the Dynamics 365 Operations and finance OData Feed. It displays fine but my issue is that it won't get new data into it on the web version, even if I clicked on refresh. On my desktop, it works fine and it has all the new data every time I refresh.

What is the issue?

If you have insight on this problem, please enlighten me 🙂

Thanks!

Have you tried scheduling a refresh for it? You would go to your Dataset and click the ellipses and try scheduling a refresh. You shouldn't need a gateway to do it.

Hi @I_NeedMorePower

If you data source is online, after publishing to Power BI Service, you don't need a gateway to configure a schedule refresh.

Just select the dataset->setting->refresh->configure credentials.

It it doesn't work, as a workaround, you would need to manually upload PBIX file to Power BI Service after you manually refresh data in Power BI Desktop.

Best Regards

Maggie
