Continuous Data in Multiple Tabs (in Excel) as Source

Hello,

I have created a dashboard where the data source is an excel. Now the data is being incresing and I have doubt that within next few days I have to move to a different tab - coz maximum rows limit will be over.

Now my question is if I have to continue the data in 2nd tab - how do I keep it linked as a same data source for the power bi.

Regards

Utsav

It is feasible, but will require some changes to the model. Make sure that your data is in the same format. To download the data from multiple sheets just click Expand after connecting to the Excel file. Just like below:

First image to show the field names in both the sheet and 2nd image is to show what error data I am receiving.

Data format are same in both the table, still I am getting the error.

Please let me know if you want any more detail info.

Which query gives you this error? Have you tried using "Append" function?

Would it be possible to get anonymized data from you? This would speed up development.

Thanks

This issue has been solved Michal, sorry for delay in answer.
