Connect Rational DOORS 9.6 to PowerBI

Hi,

I'm using Rational DOORS 9.6 for Requirements Management in my company, although powerful this is by far the worst data visualization tool. Therefore, I would like to connect the database to PowerBI desktop to show the projects progress.

I'm not a programmer. Is there a way to connect the DOORS database to PowerBI desktop?

Thanks

Hi @peetman ,

As far as I know, it seems that you can access the database through OSLC Rest API. You can use web entry in Power BI Desktop or directly add power query code in Power BI Desktop to extract data from the API, for more details, please review the following blogs.

  1. Access OSLC services from IBM Rational DOORS
  2. Get Data from API with Power Query

Not sure.  What kind of database is that and is it listed among the Power BI connectors?  If not, is there a REST API offered through which you can get the data?
