Capture a single value from one column to another POWER QUERY

Hello there,

I would like to know if it's possible to capture one specific value from a column (with many other values) to a new column in the same table to be able to drill down and repeat that value across all rows.

As you can see in the image below, I tried to solve it using INDEX and MODULO but my data is inconsistent as in some reports I have more rows and in others less therefore my formula using MODULO as "guide" brings the wrong result. I want only the dates and in the last part of the image you can see is giving me "plant".

Unfortuanately I can't modify the files that feeds this query therefore I need another solution in order to capture the dates properly.

I am attaching 2 samples of the same reports I use where you will have different amount of rows: Excel Reports

Any help will be much appreciated 🙂

Thanks a lot in advance,

Regards,

Alan.

Thanks @camargos88

I just realised I can use the date which is written in the name of each file 😂 (which I believe is what you did)

I think I need to get a break,

Thanks once again !

Cheers
