Cannot convert the value to type list

Hi,

I'm running into a problem again that seems to occur intermittently.

I've already posted about this issue here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Power-Query/Cannot-convert-to-type-List/m-p/1971275#M58097

At the time, this issue was caused by a session being expired. But the same issue is happening now, and it's not session related.

To restate the problem: I think my M needs modification, but I'm not sure how.

let
Source = Json.Document(Web.Contents("https://apiURL/ACCOUNT_INFO?$top=2000",
    [Headers=
        [
            #"ocp-apim-subscription-key" = Text.Combine({Subscription}),
            #"integrator-key" = Text.Combine({Integrator}),
            #"x-universal-refresh-token" = Text.Combine({Refresh}),
            #"x-universal-directive" = "x",
            #"respos-cache" = "false"
            ]]
        )
    ),
#"Converted to Table" = Record.ToTable(Source),
Value = #"Converted to Table"{0}[Value],
Custom1 = Table.FromList(Value, Splitter.SplitByNothing(), null, null, ExtraValues.Error),
#"Expanded Column1" = Table.ExpandRecordColumn(Custom1, "Column1",
    {"Account_ID", "Account_Title"}
    )

in

    #"Expanded Column1"

Here's the error:

Expression.Error: We cannot convert the value "https://host/$metada..." to type List.
Details:
Value=https://host/$metadata#ACCOUNT_INFO
Type=[Type]

When I'm told to "Go To Error," it seems the offending part is:

Custom1 = Table.FromList(Value, Splitter.SplitByNothing(), null, null, ExtraValues.Error)

Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!

Try modifying this step:

Value = #"Converted to Table"{0}[Value]

to this

Value = #"Converted to Table"[Value]

The {0} was returing the first value of a list to scalar value, so you can no longer use it as a list in Table.FromList.

Thanks for this.

Looks like progress. A table is now returned, but now each cell is giving me the following Error. Thoughts on next steps?

Expression.Error: We cannot convert the value "https://host/$metada..." to type Record.
Details:
Value=https://host/$metadata#ACCOUNT_DETAILS

Type=[Type]
